Every poker player has been in a situation where they have had their aces cracked in a big spot in an all-in preflop hand. Not too many say they lost with the best hand of poker twice in a single hand.
People like Timofey ‘trueteller’ Kuznetsov. During a tete-a-tete in Jeju, South Korea, a ball of wax must have taken possession of my cochlea, because I swear that he told me that he set the goal to make $1m playing online poker at Paul Hardcastle’s age. If I’m going to write about it, I had better do my due diligence, so I contacted him. True about me.True Teller is my personal Blog. I will share everything here.
Unfortunately for him, Timofey 'Trueteller' Kuznetsov found himself in just that spot. In a heads-up match, Kuznetsov called a five-bet shove from Jonas 'OtB_RedBaron' Mols to create a week-high pot of $157,426 and the duo agreed to run it twice.
By this time, Kuznetsov’s online avatar’ trueteller’ had become recognised as one of the best, if not the best, short-stack poker player during that period. “The action never seemed to die,” said Kuznetsov. “I had people playing me every day at 50/100 -200/400 mostly, some 500/1k. Despite Kuznetsov had 82 percent equity to win the first board and even more on the second board, his aces were cracked twice to hand a huge pot over to Mols.
One pot often doesn't dictate who the top performers were of the week. Such was the case this week with Kuznetsov booking a profit despite this huge setback and Mols booking one of the biggest overall losses for the week.

Poker career[edit]
Mols worked on his game by 'reading and analyzing his game' until he improved. He reportedly earned between $4 and $5 million playing online tournaments and cash games at stakes below $25/$50. In 2012 on a thread at Two Plus Two Publishing, Mols documented his goal to play 100,000 hands on PokerStars' Zoom format at the highest stakes and achieve at least a 6 EV bb/100 win rate. He achieved a 3.9 EV bb/100 win rate on his first marathon and a 7 EV bb/100 win rate on his second attempt.[3] Mols has been referred to as an online poker 'boss'.[4] Professional poker player Andres 'Educa-p0ker' Artinano, claimed observing Mols improved his own game play and ranked Mols along with Linus Loeliger and Timofey Kuznetsov as one of the top three 6-max no-limit hold 'em players in the world.[5][6]
Mols played in the 2016 World Championship of Online Poker $102,000 Super High Roller where he was eliminated by eventual champion 'bencb789'.[7]
In March 2018, Mols won a $157,425.70 pot online after getting all the money in preflop holding K♦K♠ against Timofey Kuznetsov's A♦A♣. They agreed to run the board twice. The first board ran out 3♥K♣4♣2♦6♠ and the second board came 6♥K♥9♦7♥3♠ giving the entire pot to Mols.[8][9]
As of 2018, Mols has earned over $2,000,000 playing online poker cash games at stakes $25/$50 and higher. His winnings come almost entirely from no-limit Texas hold 'em.[10] His total live tournament winnings exceeds $50,000.[11]
